π€ Upload
Q: Can I upload multiple documents at once?
A: Currently, FileQuik allows one document upload at a time. However, uploads are fast, and processing happens in the background, so you can continue uploading additional files without waiting.
Q: Why canβt I upload my file?
A: This may happen if:
- The file exceeds the allowed size limit
- The format is not supported
- There are network issues during upload
Try reducing the file size or converting it to a supported format.
Q: Can I upload duplicate files?
A: FileQuik prevents duplicate uploads based on filename and file content. If a duplicate is detected, the upload will be rejected to avoid redundancy.
β³ Processing
Q: Why is my document still "Queued"?
A: Your document is waiting for background workers to begin processing. During busy periods or with large uploads, queue times may increase temporarily.
Q: Why does the progress percentage move slowly?
A: Some processing stages such as AI analysis, metadata extraction, and tagging may take longer depending on document size and complexity.
Progress percentages are approximate and may not increase at a constant speed.
Q: What processing stages does my document go through?
A: Documents may go through preview generation, text extraction, metadata analysis, AI tagging, categorization, and finalization before becoming searchable.
Q: Why does the processing message keep changing?
A: FileQuik displays the current processing stage in real time so you can see what the system is currently doing.
Q: Why was my document marked Unsupported?
A: This usually means the uploaded file type is not currently supported for extraction or preview generation.
π Search
Q: Why can't I find my document?
A: Make sure the document has finished processing. Search works across document content, filenames, and tags. Try using different or more specific keywords.
Q: How does search work?
A: FileQuik uses OCR and text analysis to make your documents searchable. You can search using words that appear inside the document, not just the filename.
Q: How can I improve search results?
A: To get better results:
- Use clear and descriptive filenames
- Upload high-quality, readable documents
- Include relevant keywords in your documents
